We are excited you have made the commitment to be under the teaching of God's Holy Word with others who are committed to do the same!
Mission Statement:
Our goal is to minister the “Whole Counsel of God” in the spirit of the Apostle Paul (Acts 20:27), to declare unashamedly that “The Entirety of God’s Word is Truth” (Psalms 119:160), and to “Preach Christ as Lord” (2 Corinthians 4:5), Who is Himself, the absolute “Truth” (John 14:6).
Mission Verse:
“Walking in Truth” 2 John 4
What we hope to accomplish...
Our congregation seeks to Honor the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We long to "walk in truth" and so be governed by Scripture in all our undertakings.
To enable us to live the gospel in our individual and collective lives, we have over the past year, striven to know God more intimately by being intentional in our use of and obedience to the Holy Scriptures.
Most recently, we have studied Galatians and Ephesians in careful exegetical exposition on Wednesday evenings. Alternating with these biblical books, we have also engaged with A. W. Pink's the Attributes of God, and are currently studying Abraham Booth's the Reign of Grace.
Over the past year, we have been served by the book of Psalms in our Sunday morning worship meetings. And in our Sunday night gathering, we are working through the gospel according to Mark.
Our Doctrinal Statement...
Our congregation is in line with the major ecumenical councils, particularly:
The Apostle's Creed
(Roman & African Form)
(circa AD 341; circa AD 400)
The Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed
(AD 325, AD 381)
The Chalcedonian Definition
(AD 451)
The Third Constantinopolitan Creed
(AD 680)
Also, we are very sympathetic to the Athanasian Creed (5th or 6th Century) and from the Reformation era, the Westminster Standards and the Three Forms of Unity.
Our Specific Doctrinal Convictions are from the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1677/89).
